Oran, the land of change

Oran is a land of trouble and turmoil. Constantly changing at the behest of singularly powerful individuals, it is a continent of change. The only fixed point are the Trees, which grant power and take it away, invincible sentient monoliths that have ancient plans embedded in their rings.
p. There have been several ages in recorded history. The Age of the Hunter, in which the most base warriors existed, fighting against the wild. The Age of Eraeus, in which the Grand Empire of Eraeus rose out of the sands and brought enlightenment to man. The Age of the Fall, in which Eraeus became corrupt, and their king sought too much, bringing a curse upon them. The True Vizier, Eloa managed to channel the power to raise mountains to block them from the rest of the world before she died. The Age of the Dwarves, in which they emerged from their mountain homes. The Age of Magisteel, where the Dwarves sought to conquer the world, but were stopped by The Tree. After such a humiliating defeat, they returned to their mountain home and refused to leave. The Age of War, in which many events in each seperate nation occurred. Last, the Age of the Cataclysm, in which the mountains Eloa rose were felled by Arnaasa and the world brought together again.
